The Pioneer

Dear Friends,

In my childhood I was greatly impacted by a handful of missionaries. What I loved most
about them were the stories they shared. I learned about people and places in a refreshing way that always left me wanting more. Their stories were never a geography lesson. They were a real life adventure.  After High School I attended Bible College where I had a class about The Pioneer. The Bible is full of Pioneer’s and the adventures they had. I often thought how amazing would it be to help bring the Good News into a place where it has not been before.

Now God has given me the chance to have an adventure and also to be a Pioneer.  I have never been more excited about anything in my Christian walk. I have written a children’s book series called The Missionary Dog. In my book, Miss Dixie is a Missionary dog in The Lord’s Army and she is on assignment in the country of Mongolia. This country is the 19th largest in the world with a population of 3 million people – 30% of that are children under the age of 14. The 2010 Mongolian census listed only 2.1% of the population as Christian. With my books I hope to change that. Mongolia is vast and beautiful with some parts that still remain untouched. All kinds of adventures await there.

The word Pioneer means: to be responsible for the creation and early operation or use of. Some synonyms of pioneer are: begin, initiate, launch, set up, plant, start. Some related words in the Webster dictionary for Pioneer are; author, expand, produce, invent, devise and develop. WOW! No wonder this is exciting. God has asked me to help get the Gospel into the hearts of boys and girls and men and women. So He wants us to launch out, to plant the word, to start a work, to begin. TO PIONEER! To expand the places the Gospel has been. God is asking us to author, to expand, produce, invent and develop so the Good News can go further and further. I have answered that call, but I need your help.

As you can imagine there a many expenses for this project. I have a publisher and the first book in the series will be coming out in February of 2016. These books will have a hard back cover and will be in full color. After the books are printed and for sale in America, we will translate and publish in Mongolian. The next steps will be to go on a Mission’s Trip to Mongolia with the books. Some of the many expenses involved are: Publishing, Illustrations, Editing, ISBN number, Ebook set up, Translation, and Copyright fees. We only need $6,000 to get this project published. My publisher has set me up to attend The Living Women’s Expo in Tulsa, OK on February 12th and 13th. We need to raise the money by Wednesday February 10th. This is the deadline for the production of the book.

Matthew 24:14 (AMP) This good news of the Kingdom (the gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as testimony to all the nations, and then the end (of the age) will come.

I would like to invite you to have a part in this inspiring adventure and to see yourself as a Pioneer for The Lord’s Army, right along with me. Just as Matthew 24:14 says the Gospel needs to be preached in the whole world before Jesus will come again

Thank you for your prayers and support!
